Reach Us

Corrections, questions about something published here, and press or partnership enquiries all go to the same place. It is read by the person who writes the site, not by a support queue.

One address, checked by one person

Write to [email protected]. There is no contact form, no phone line and no live chat, because a one-editor desk answering honestly by email is better than three channels that all go unread.

Useful things to put in an email

The messages that get resolved fastest include the page in question — a link or a title — and the specific passage being asked about. If a factual correction is being reported, quoting the sentence and pointing to the source that contradicts it turns a long exchange into a short one.

Good reasons to write: something on this site is out of date or wrong; a platform’s terms have changed since a page was written; a term used here is unclear and could be explained better; a subject connected to withdrawals, verification, caps or fees is not covered and should be; a platform wishes to dispute something published about its terms.

Never send us these

Please do not email account numbers, passwords, card or bank details, one-time codes, or photographs of passports, driving licences or utility bills. This desk has no use for any of it and no ability to act on it, and email is not a secure way to move documents like that. Anything of that kind that arrives is deleted rather than filed.

Also worth knowing before writing: this site cannot access, unlock, credit or close an account at any gambling platform, cannot chase or release a pending withdrawal, cannot overturn a rejected verification, and cannot give legal, financial or tax advice. A stuck payment is a matter for the operator’s own complaints procedure first, then the regulator named in its terms — the boundaries are set out on what we are (and aren’t).

If a message is about gambling that has stopped being affordable, the helplines and self-exclusion routes on playing within your means will help far faster than this inbox can, and they are staffed by people trained for exactly that conversation.

When you’ll hear back

Expect a reply within two to three business days in most cases. A message that requires re-reading a platform’s terms, or checking a document against an older version of a page, can take longer — and a genuine correction is made to the page as part of answering, not afterwards.

Messages sent over a weekend or a public holiday are picked up on the next working day. There is no automated acknowledgement, so an unanswered email after a week is worth resending rather than assuming it was ignored; spam filters occasionally take a message that should have arrived.

Commercial and press enquiries

Partnership and advertising approaches are welcome at the same address, with one condition stated in advance: nothing published here is for sale, including placement, wording, ordering or the removal of accurate information. How the site is funded, and what that funding does not buy, is set out in full on funding and independence.

Journalists and researchers asking about how a particular claim was checked will get the sources behind it, which are ordinary public documents in every case.
